We’ve listed a 2014-assembled Superformance MKIII for a no-reserve online auction, with bidding set to close on Friday, August 22, 2025. Finished in blue metallic with a white center stripe over black leather, this MKIII shows 2,100 miles and is offered on behalf of the current owner.
Under the front-hinged hood is a Roush Performance 427SR V8 fed by a Holley carburetor and polished Edelbrock intake, sparked by MSD ignition and breathing through tubular headers to side-exit exhausts. Power goes to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual. Recent service in July 2025 included an oil change, new spark plugs, and fresh transmission and differential fluids. A brake-fluid flush was completed in preparation for the sale.
The fiberglass body features a single roll hoop, hood scoop, Talbot Berlin-style side mirror, quick-jack bumperettes, fender vents, and a LeMans-style fuel filler. Paint-protection film covers the front end and rocker panels. Rolling stock consists of 15-inch Halibrand-style wheels with safety-wired three-eared knockoffs on Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires, with braking handled by four-wheel discs.
Inside, low-back buckets in black leather are paired with racing harnesses, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and a heater. Smiths instrumentation includes the reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges, plus a Lucas ammeter. The car is titled in Illinois as a 1965 Superformance Custom Vehicle, using the assigned VIN S0S312286ILL, and is offered with service records.
