We are proud to represent this 1986 Audi Ur-Quattro, now live on Bring a Trailer at no reserve. Finished in Zermatt Silver Metallic over gray cloth with patterned tweed inserts, this sunroof-delete example shows 74k kilometers, or approximately 46k miles.

The auction is live on Bring a Trailer and ends Tuesday, June 9 at 12:14 p.m. PT. The car is offered from Illinois with tools, current-ownership records, and a clean Wisconsin title in the owner's name.

For collectors, the original roadgoing quattro remains one of Audi's defining performance cars. Based on the B2 coupe body, it combines Giorgetto Giugiaro-era proportions with box-flared bodywork, a wider track, and the permanent all-wheel-drive architecture that made the model a rally and road-car reference point.

This example retains Euro-spec lighting, bumpers, and smoked rear lenses. Its turbocharged 2.2-liter 10-valve inline-five uses Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and a K26 turbocharger, paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and driver-controlled differential locking.

The current owner acquired the car in 2016 and has since commissioned more than $40k in documented work. The body was stripped to bare metal and repainted in factory Zermatt Silver Metallic, with XPEL paint-protection film applied in September 2021.

Service highlights include Koni struts in 2017, replacement wheel bearings, a timing belt, water pump, and thermostat in 2020, suspension and drivetrain work in 2022, anti-lock brake service in 2025, a ceramic-coated stainless-steel 2Bennett exhaust system, and air-conditioning repairs completed in preparation for the sale.
