European-market Quattro

Finished in Zermatt Silver Metallic over gray cloth with patterned tweed inserts, this sunroof-delete Ur-Quattro retained European lighting, bumpers, and smoked rear lenses. It was said to have remained with one family in France and Andorra before being imported to the United States via Belgium approximately 12 years before its 2026 auction.

Powertrain and preparation

The turbocharged 2.2-liter 10-valve inline-five uses Bosch K-Jetronic injection and a K26 turbocharger. A five-speed manual transaxle works with locking center and rear differentials. After acquiring the car in 2016, the owner commissioned more than $40k in documented work, including Koni struts, wheel bearings, timing-belt service, suspension and drivetrain work, anti-lock brake service, and a ceramic-coated 2Bennett stainless-steel exhaust.

Paint and cabin

The body was stripped to bare metal and repainted in its factory color in 2021, with XPEL paint-protection film applied that year. Air-conditioning repairs were completed before sale. The cabin retained its patterned upholstery, digital instrumentation, auxiliary displays, and differential-control dial. Tools, records, aftermarket wheels, the removed factory steering wheel, and a Blaupunkt radio accompanied the car.
